Apple is reportedly preparing to announce several devices soon, but not without much fanfare. The Cupertino-based tech giant is said to be refreshing its tablet lineup with its new silicon after it drops in 2023, via a press release. With this, a new MacBook Air model, a new color option for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, and many other products can also be launched by the company, a report has claimed. While the iPad Pro, iPad Air and MacBook Air models could be introduced this week, it is believed that the rest of the products will be announced by April 2024.
MacRumors said, citing unnamed sources “familiar with the matter.” report It was claimed that Apple may launch new devices this week. However, it does not reveal which products are expected to be announced or when the announcement might actually happen. However, this is not the only report claiming that Apple is planning to introduce multiple products.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, in his Power On Newsletter, said, “Apple has a lot of new hardware in store for release over the next several weeks. This includes revised iPad Pro models and an updated iPad Air that adds a 12.9-inch screen option, as well as a refreshed Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard for the high-end iPad. On the Mac front, there are 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air variants that come with the faster M3 chip. All of these new products are in production overseas, and Apple’s marketing teams are preparing to announce them relatively soon.
According to the report, the list may include significant upgrades to the two new iPad Pro models. The Apple tablet is expected to be equipped with an M3 chipset, OLED panel, a redesigned rear camera module, a landscape-oriented front camera, a slimmer body, and more. This will be the first time in more than five years that the Pro model is getting such a major update.
Two new iPad Air models are also expected to be introduced and will feature M2 chipsets. The biggest attraction of this lineup is said to be the company’s first 12.9-inch iPad Air model. It is being said that the MacBook Air will also be updated in the coming weeks. New 13-inch and 15-inch models powered by the M3 SoC and support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 may be unveiled.
Apart from these, a new Magic Keyboard with a larger trackpad, a new Apple Pencil and iPhone case and new shades for the Apple Watch band are also expected. This is also the time when the tech giant traditionally introduces a new color option for the latest iPhone series. The report mentions that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could be the first to get the new finish in the coming weeks.
Despite being important releases for the company, the latest reports claim that no event will be held for these devices, and they will be launched through multiple press releases over the next few weeks.
